Cookie Policy
Guava stores a small amount of information on your device so that you stay signed in, your settings survive a refresh, and your unsaved drafts are not lost. This page lists all of it by name. We run no advertising network and set no cross-site tracking cookies.

01What this policy covers
“Cookies” is the familiar word, but Guava mostly uses newer browser storage that does the same job. This policy covers all of it:
- Cookies. small text files a site stores in your browser and reads back on the next request.
- Local storage. browser storage that persists on your device until it is cleared. This is where most Guava settings live.
- Session storage. the same idea, but erased when you close the tab.
- A device identifier. a random value generated in your browser so views can be counted without an account.

04Third party content inside Guava
Some pages embed material hosted elsewhere, and that material can set its own storage on your device, governed by its own policy, not ours.
- Video embeds. when a page contains a video player from another service, that service may set cookies once the player loads.
- Live channel streams. channels listed on Guava play streams run by their own operators.
- Web fonts and delivery networks. fonts and static files are served through delivery networks, which log the request as part of delivering the file.
- Links you follow. once you leave Guava for a brand site, a partner listing or an app store, that site's policy applies.
05How to see, control and delete it
- In your browser. every major browser can show, block and delete cookies and site storage, usually under Settings, then Privacy, then Cookies and site data. You can clear it for Guava alone.
- In private browsing. open Guava in a private or incognito window and everything is discarded when you close it.
- In the mobile app. clearing the app's storage from your device settings removes all of it, and signs you out.
- In Guava. signing out removes the session, and clearing your search history removes the stored searches.
06Consent
Strictly necessary storage is set because the service cannot work without it. For the other categories, where Tanzanian law requires consent, using Guava after being shown notice of this policy is treated as consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by clearing storage or blocking it in your browser, with the effects described above.
07Changes and contact
When we add or remove a cookie or a storage key, we update the table on this page and the date at the top. Questions go to this address.
